As part of Kelly’s professional background, she is also a licensed Registered Nurse, so taking care of her customers’ needs comes naturally. A “Southern Girl” growing up in the Low Country of Charleston, South Carolina for 30 years…fishing, boating & beaching have always been Kelly’s way of life. While attending under-graduate business courses at the College of Charleston & then graduating with a Registered Nursing degree, she co-owned a Yacht Management Company based out of the Charleston City Marina for 6 years and acquired her Master Captain’s License. She was also fishing the Billfish Tournament Circuit of South Carolina, the Bahamas and Bermuda. In 2008, she moved to Naples, Florida to pursue new endeavors. Kelly now resides on the Isles of Capri with her husband/SYC Yachts co-founder Steve, their two children Zane and Ruby, along with their dogs, Luke & Rosy.
Kelly is very active in the local community. In 2012 she became a board member for the Naples Community Hospital Safe & Healthy Children’s Coalition of Collier County & co-founded a lifejacket loaner program that has expanded from 1 stand at Sugden Park in Naples, to now 15 stands county-wide helping provide life jackets to local children, families & visitors as they use our Collier County beaches. There are currently 5 life jacket loaner stands on Marco Island and 10 stands in Naples. Kelly was on the board of the Marine Industries Association of Collier County in which she was very active coordinating our area’s local boat shows & events & as of March of 2023, she is now a board member for the Marco Island Marina Association. She has also been featured in EBella Magazine’s “Local Hero” section and in Gulfshore Life Magazine’s “Giving Back to the Community” section & was also featured in the "Faces of 2020." Most recently you will find her every month just as you open Homes & Land Magazine of SWFL's inner cover & first page featuring her newest listings.
Kelly is extremely driven & goal-oriented & someone who will place your needs as her main priority. She takes pride in her reputation and is devoted to being the absolute best she can be to each person she helps.
